▸Is the Word file editable?
Yes. Each page becomes a section in the Word document with the extracted text, which you can edit, copy and reformat normally.
▸Will images and layout be preserved?
No. This converter extracts the text layer and re-flows it. Images, colors and exact layout are not carried over. For a pixel-perfect copy, convert the PDF to images instead.
▸Does it work with scanned PDFs?
Scanned PDFs without a text layer cannot be converted — there is no text to extract. Such files need OCR first.
